Alpacas do not require much of your time. Depending on the number of animals, it can range from 40 minutes to several hours a day: Feeding hay twice a day, occasional toe nail trimming, vaccinations and worming based on your region and your vet's recommendation. Many American alpaca breeders still pursue a full-time job.
