AlpacaMania will again be a collection point for your fleeces to be sent to AFCNA.They are calling for "skirted" blankets, neck, & britch fiber (no leg fiber). Neck and britch should be from animals 4 years old or younger and must be at least 2.5" in length. AFCNA will pay 100% of the freight charge if 500 or more pounds is collected. Donations towards shipping fees will gladly be accepted.To help AFCNA members save money, this year at Alpacamania members contributing fiber do not need to box their clip. All that is required is that the bags of fleece each have a AFCNA contribution form and zip tied. There will be receptacles at the show for people to put their fleeces.If boxing is still something that they want to do for ease of handling, then they may do so. Accepted will be 18 x 18 x 18 or 16 x 16 x 16 boxes only. The boxes will be stacked on a pallet and need to be uniform in size.Fiber is to be placed in boxes by color and the color written on the outside of the box along with the ranch name and AFCNA member number.
