Welcome to FiberMania 2010, an event where we celebrate the natural animal and plant fibers that Mother Nature has bestowed. Join us November 13 and 14, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Josephine County Fairgrounds in Grants Pass, OR.Whether you are a fiber artist looking for raw materials or someone who appreciates the talents of those who create fiber art, there will be something for everyone. Along with vendors selling fiber products there will be fiber animal sales, workshops, demonstrations, and a fiber-related used equipment sale. A Just for Fun Full Fleece Show with an emphasis on the commercial market will be held. Ribbons will be awarded to the first three places in each class: wool, alpaca, rabbit, and other.Vendor Booths: Booths fees are $50.00 and $65.00 ($65 booths are sold out). Each booth comes with one table. If more than one table is desired they can be rented for $5.00 a piece. Booth registration deadline is October 15, 2010.Animal Pen Guidelines: Pen fees are $20.00. Livestock owners are responsible for providing their own bio-security. Pens are set on concrete. Owners are responsible for providing own bedding and clean-up of pens. A pen clean-up deposit of $12.00 is required and will be returned if the pen area has been cleaned at the end of the event. Overnight security will be provided. Pen registration deadline is October 15, 2010.Workshops: All workshops fees are set, collected by, and go to the instructors minus 10% to be paid to SOJAA. Information on workshops will be added to the website as they become known. Workshop registration deadline is November 1, 2010 unless otherwise noted on class schedule.
